Government Committee for Religious Affairs leader attends annual meeting of Hoa Hao Buddhism

Vice Chaiman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà was amongst state guests at the second regular meeting of the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church held on November 19.
The organization of the meeting aimed to review the Church’s activities in 2014 and approve a working program for 2015.
It’s reported at the meeting that in 2014 the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church organized 1,286 preaching meetings and 28 training workshops with the aim to provide basic religious tenets for fellow followers in provinces and cities, and conducted social charities, such as building houses for people under special difficulties and providing medical supports for poor patients, worth about 107 billion VND.
Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s activities in 2014 bought practical results, making important contributions to implement the motto “For the Dharma and the Nation”.
