On the occasion of the Summer Retreat in the Buddhist calendar year of 2557, on August 13-14, 2013, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice - Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, led the delegation to Ráng Pagoda in Hanoi to visit Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ, Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS).
On August 14, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà and Mr. Bùi Hữu Dược, Head of the Committee’s Department of Buddhist Affairs wished Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ good health and hoped that he will continue to lead the VBS firmly on the way to indoctrinate the Dharma and serve the nation.
Most Venerable Thích Phổ Tuệ thanked the Government Committee for Religious Affairs for its care. He also conveyed his best wishes to the committee leaders and expressed his hope that the Committee will continue paying attention to and creating favorable conditions for the Sangha’s Buddhist activities.
