The Trade Union of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held the 8th congress for the 2017 – 2022 tenure on July 4.
Attending the event were Executive Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Head of the Home Affairs Ministry’s Trade Union Thái Quang Toản, representatives from the trade unions of state bodies under the Ministry of Home Affairs and all members of the GCRA’s Trade Union.
The congress reviewed the performance of the GCRA’s Trade Union in the past term and approved its working plans for the 2017-2022 term, as well as elected 15 members to the GCRA’s Trade Union’s new executive committee for 2017-2022 tenure.

On this occasion, on behalf of Vietnam Trade Union’s Executive Committee Chairman Thái Quang Toản presented certificates of merit to members of the GCRA’s Trade Union for their outstanding contributions in trade union activities. The GCRA’s Trade Union was also awarded a certificate of merit honoring its performance in the past term by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Trade Union.
