GCRA’s Scientific Council approves survey projects 2016

The Scientific Council under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs held a conference on May 12 to approve projects to be implemented in 2016

The event was presided over by Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the GCRA  cum Head of the Scientific Council Bùi Thanh Hà.

During the conference, the GCRA’s Scientific Council heard outlines of projects presented by representatives from GCRA’s three departments. These projects included general study of Phap Tang Buddhism of Vietnam; survey on pre-seminary training of the Catholic Church of Vietnam and study of Buddhist ashrams.

Members of the Scientific Council commented on issues and contents of these projects including necessity, purpose and project layouts.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà urged the project’s managers and departments to strictly refer to the Scientific Council’s comments in order to ensure the quality and progress of the projects.  

On occasion of the Vietnam Science and Technology Day on May 18, the GCRA’s Scientific Council briefed about the history of the its founding day to honor people who have contributed in the Science sector.
