The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Scientific Council held on January 6 a meeting for reviewing its activities 2020 and outlining working plans 2021.
The event was presided by Dr. Vũ Chiến Thắng, Deputy Minister of the Home Affairs Ministry cum President of the GCRA’s Scientific Council, and attended by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Nguyễn Ánh Chức, members of the council, and representatives of the GCRA’s departments and divisions.
As reported, in 2020, the GCRA has carried out 15 scientific projects, including one project assigned by the Prime Minister.

Due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, several projects have been delayed.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng spoke highly of results of scientific research 2020, including the improvement of project’s qualities and increased collaborations of scholars and experts.
The deputy minister asked the scientific council to select projects with more practicality, strengthen the collaboration between GCRA’s departments and divisions, and further expand collaborators. The official also urged project managers to publish results of completed projects on GCRA’s website and magazine.
