GCRA leader receives Project Director of EU Delegation in Vietnam

Project Director of the EU-Vietnam Strategic Dialogue Facility Poul Lassen paid a farewell visit to the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on Nov. 11 before ending his working tenure in Vietnam.

The EU Project Director was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and representatives of the GCRA’s Office and Department of International Relation.

During the meeting reception, Director Poul Lassen thanked the GCRA for its support in his tenure in Vietnam and expressed his delight at the fine development of relations between the Vietnam and the EU.

On behalf of the GCRA, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn spoke highly of the contributions the Project Director has made in the implementation of cooperation activities between the two sides in the field of belief and religion, contributing to promote ties of the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam - EU in recent years.

Mr. Tấn also expressed hope that Mr. Poul Lassen, with his in-depth understanding about Vietnam’s cultures and people, would continue making practical contributions in fostering the fine relation of cooperation between the Vietnam and the EU in the time ahead.

During his three-year tenure in Vietnam, the GCRA and the EU have collaborated in the organization of international seminars on religion and publication on religion and religious policy in Vietnam, etc.
