At the visiting reception

During the visiting reception, Senior Thích Chân Pháp Ấn took the chance to thank the Party and State’ leaders, the GCRA, concerning central agencies and Thua Thien - Hue provincial authority for their practical help and support to the Plum Village to solemn funeral of Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh.

The senior venerable also informed with the host about several key affairs of the Plum Village in the coming time and expressed hope that he GCRA and concerning agencies would continue extending favorable, guidance and support to religious practices of dignitaries and lay Buddhists of Plum Village in Vietnam.

Speaking with the guests, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc affirmed that the State respected and highly appreciated Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh for his contributions to the introduction and development of Vietnamese Buddhism and culture in the world.

The GCRA leader also expressed hope that dignitaries and lay Buddhists of Plum Village would continue inheriting and promoting the contributions made by Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh to the development of the country and humanity. 

Receiving comments of the Plum Village delegation, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc affirmed that the Party and State always have consistent policies to ensure freedom of belief and religion of all people, pay attention and create favorable conditions for legitimate religious needs of individuals and religious organizations in accordance with the state law.
