On April 17-20, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng led a delegation to visit Southern Catholic establishments on occasion of Easter celebration 2017.
The delegation visited the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Cho Quan in Ho Chi Minh city, offices of Vinh Long and Can Tho diocese.
Joining the delegation included representatives from the Central Vietnam Women Union and the provincial-level Committee for Religious Affairs in Vinh Long province and Can Tho city.
At the visiting receptions, while extending Easter greetings to Catholic dignitaries and followers, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng spoke highly of practical contributions of Catholics in the socio-economic development in the localities.
