Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng led a delegation to visit at meet with Cardinal Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn on November 3.
At the visiting reception, while acknowledging social contributions by Catholic dignitaries and followers, Chairman Vũ Chiến Thắng expressed hope that the Cardinal and Catholics of Hanoi Archdiocese would make further practical contributions to the construction of a prosperous country of Vietnam.
Cardinal Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn took the chance to thank the GCRA for its support extended to the Catholic dignitaries and followers of Hanoi Archdiocese over the past years and said he will join with followers of the archdiocese in promoting fine traditions for socio-economic development in the country.
