On January 20, Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Buì Thanh Hà led a delegation to visit Most Venerable Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Thích Phổ Tuệ in Vien Minh Pagoda in Hanoi city’s Phu Xuyen district, on occasion of the upcoming traditional New Year festival.
Joining the visit included representatives of the GCRA’s Department of Buddhist Affairs.
While extending New Year’s greetings to Patriarch Thích Phổ Tuệ, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà praised the VBS and the Patriarch for their practical contributions in Buddhist affairs over the past years.
