GCRA issues plan for Vietnam’s Law Day 2016

On October 28, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) issued an action plan for the implementation of the Vietnam’s Law Day 2016 (November 9, 2013 – November 9, 2016).

The contents of the plan on Law Day 2016 focus on disseminating purpose and significance of the Vietnam’s Law Day; promoting the primary role and contents of the Constitution provided for the State administration on belief and religion; disseminating laws and ordinances approved by the National Assembly (NA) and the NA’s Standing Committee in 2014 and 2015; completing the draft Law on belief and religion, draft Decree guiding the implementation of the Law on belief and religion and draft Decree sanctioning administrative violations of laws relating to belief and religion; as well as praising typical groups and individuals for their contributions in construction, implementation and dissemination of legal documents.

The action plan for Vietnam’s Law Day by the GCRA contributed to enhance senses of law observance and promote law building capacity for the GCRA’s officials and employees.
