A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) paid a working visit to Yen Bai province for inspecting the implementation of the law on belief and religion in on March 20-23
During the working visit, the GCRA delegation had a meeting with Yen Bai provincial People’s Committee, met with local authorities of districts of Luc Yen, Yen Binh and Yen Bai city, and visited several religious establishments in the province for exchanges and fact-findings on the implementation of religious laws in the locality.
Yen Bai province currently has 180 local religious organizations with 30 religious dignitaries, over 1,000 deacons and 150 worshipping establishments.
