A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng inspected the implementation of the State’s policies and laws on belief and religion in An Giang province from September 25 to 28.
During the inspection, the GCRA delegation had a meeting with the provincial People’s Committee, districts authorities of Tri Ton, and Cho Moi, and visited several religious organizations in the locality for checking the observance of laws on religion.
An Giang province currently has 14 religious organizations of 10 different religions namely Buddhism, Caodaism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, Islam, the Pure-land Buddhist Association, Buu Son Ky Huong faith and Hieu Nghia Ta Lon Buddhism
