GCRA holds religious law training for key Protestants in Gia Lai, Dak Lak

On April 4-9, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Committees for Religious Affairs in the provinces of Central Highlands region organized two conferences in Pleiku and Buon Ma Thuot cities on religious law training for Protestant dignitaries and deacons in the localities.

Attending the conferences included representatives from the GCRA’s Protestant Affairs Department, Committees for Religious Affairs in the provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak and Dak Nong and nearly 400 pastors, commissioned pastors, missionaries and heads of the Protestant meeting groups in the four Central Highlands provinces.

Contents delivered at the conferences included State’s laws on religion in general and Protestantism in particularly, state policies for great national unity, religious unity, current development of Protestantism in Vietnam. The conferences also held sessions for Protestants to reflect real situations in their localities and discuss remaining issues in the religious practice and the State management on Protestantism.
