GCRA holds national training on religious affairs

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) started on July 11 a national training course on religious affairs in Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang city.

Attending the opening ceremony included Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà and about 130 key provincial and district-level officials working on the state administration on religious affairs from 20 provinces and cities across the country.

During the four-day training course, representatives of the GCRA, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment delivered presentations providing updated information on religion in Vietnam, state policies and laws on religion and the State administration on religious affairs in Vietnam.

In addition to discussion and exchanges at the conference, the attending participants visited several religious worshipping establishments in Khanh Hoa province.
