GCRA holds meeting on religious contents of the Vietnamese history subject for religious training institutions

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on June 13 a meeting for discussion on religious contents of the Vietnamese history subject to be taught at religious training institutions.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà and attended by lecturers of the history faculty of the Social Sciences and Humanities University (USSH), and representatives of the GCRA’s departments.
During the meeting, representatives of the GCRA’s departments and lecturers of the USSH gave comments on the religious contents covered in eight teaching lessons of the Vietnamese history subject.

Regarding the religious contents, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà asked for a general introduction of 16 operative religions in Vietnam currently, including the religious demography, organizational structures as well as moral and cultural contributions of these religions.
