On December 29, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Bùi Thanh Hà chaired a conference on reception of citizens, and complaints and denunciations settlement relating religion in Hanoi.
Attending the event included representatives from the GCRA’s departments.
The conference reviewed results of the settlement of complaints and denunciations relating religion in 2015 by the GCRA. Accordingly, in 2015, the GCRA received 150 complaints and denunciations on 86religion-related cases from citizens. The complaints and denunciations settlement concerning religion has been resolved promptly by Department of Legislation and Inspection and other departments. The GCRA also received 15 delegations of 50 people coming to the GCRA for making complaints and denunciations. These complaints either are resolved immediately or transferred to competent authorities.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà called on the Department of Legislation and Inspection and other departments to continue improving the effectiveness of meeting citizens who wish to make complaints; handling complaints and denunciations in a timely fashion and enhancing the dissemination of complaints and denunciations law.
