GCRA holds conference on Laws on organization of local government and election of National Assembly and People’s Councils

On March 17, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) organized a conference on Laws on organization of local organization and election of the National Assembly’s deputies and members of People’s Councils.
Attending the conference included Chief Executive Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn, Director of the Home Affairs Ministry’s Local Government Department Phan Văn Hùng, and all GCRA’s officials and staff.
Overview of conference
During the event, Director Phan Văn Hùng shared with the GCRA’s staff basic contents of the two laws enacted in 2015, especially their new and important amendments for further ensuring and promoting people's democratic rights in nomination and election of members of the National Assembly and local-level People’s Councils.
