Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức paid on January 29 a visit to the Cham Islamic community in An Giang province, ahead of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
During the visit, the GCRA’s official met with the Representative Committee of the Cham Islamic community in An Giang province and heads of Islamic mosques in Tan Chau provincial city.
At visiting receptions, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ánh Chức extended a new year of peace and success to leaders and members of Cham Islamic community in the province.
He also expressed hope that dignitaries of the Islamic community would continue guiding members to practically contribute to the socio-economic development and the Covid-19 epidemic prevention work in the province.
