GCRA delegation extends congratulations to Muslim community in An Giang ahead of Ramadan festival

A delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) led by Deputy Director of GCRA’s Belief and Other Religions Department Nguyễn Hồng Điệp paid on March 30 a visit to the Muslim community’s Representative Board in An Giang province, ahead of Ramadan 2022.
Joining the delegation was Vice Chairman of An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Tùng Châu.

During the visit, while extending congratulations to the Islam representative board and all Muslims in the locality, Deputy Director Nguyễn Hồng Điệp praised the social charities of the Muslim community over the last year, including assistance and supports presented to the Covid-19 prevention work and disadvantaged families affected by the epidemic.
The GCRA official also expressed hope that the Muslim representative board would guide members to celebrate Ramadan 2022 with a strict implementation of the Covid-19 prevention measures.
