The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on June 19 a meeting for celebrating the 15th founding anniversary of the GCRA’s Information Center and Religious Affairs Magazine, and the 95th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2020).
Attending the event includes Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng, Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga, Prof. Đỗ Quang Hưng from the Vietnam National University, Assoc., Prof. Nguyễn Thanh Xuân from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, and large members of scholars, journalists and collaborators of the two GCRA’s communication divisions.
The event also saw the presence of Most Venerable Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS’s Information and Communications Board Thích Gia Quang, Pastor President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) Nguyễn Hữu Mạc, and Priest Chief of Hanoi Caodai parish Lê Xuân Mai.
During the meeting, Dr. Vũ Chiến Thắng extended congratulations to journalists, reporters and collaborators of the GCRA’s Information Center and State Religious Affairs Magazine on occasion of the Vietnam revolutionary press day. The GCRA chairman also thanked to leaders, former leaders and staffs of the two GCRA’s divisions for their efforts and contributions in the development of the two divisions in the past 15 years.
Prof. Đỗ Quang Hưng, Assoc., Prof Nguyễn Thanh Xuân and collaborators also gave comments for enhancing the efficiency of the two communication bodies of the central administration agency on religion.

On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman Trần Thị Minh Nga presented the GCRA’s certificates of recommendation to 14 individuals for their outstanding contributions in disseminating the state administration on belief and religion.
