GCRA appraises results of project on 4th online public service system

The Scientific Council under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held on November 27 a meeting to evaluate results of the project on online public service system for the 4th level.

The evaluation meeting of the GCRA’s project  was chaired by Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng and attended by members of the scientific council and the project’s management board, as well as representatives of the GCRA’s departments and units.

In the 1st phase, the project’s management board selected 11 administrative procedures in the list of 43 administrative formalities on belief and religion under the jurisdiction of the GCRA prescribed by the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 (eight for registration and three for application).

The GCRA’s online public service level 4 will allow religious organizations to perform administrative formalities, submit required forms and receive results using a SMS message, email. Religious organizations can check the process and be informed about decisions at anytime and anywhere.

During the meeting, the project’s management board briefed about results of the project at the 1st phase.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Vũ Chiến Thắng highly appreciated practical values of the project and stated the online public service system has met the requirement for the administrative reform in the field of belief and religion, as well as helped religious organizations in saving time and money. He also asked the project’s management board to early complete the project and launch the online public service system.
