Dr. Chiến Thắng, Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA), was formally appointed as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs at a ceremony held on August 24.
The ceremony was chaired by Minister of Home Affairs Lê Vĩnh Tân and attended by deputy ministers of the public security and home affairs ministries, and representatives of central agencies.
Representatives of the government religious committee at the ceremony included Mrs. Trần Thị Minh Nga and Mr. Nguyễn Ánh Chức, deputy heads of the GCRA.
The event proclaimed the Prime Minister’s decision signed on August 21 appointing Chairman of the government religious committee Vũ Chiến Thắng signed as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, and saw Minister of Home Affairs Lê Vĩnh Tân presenting the appointment decision and congratulation to the new deputy minister Vũ Chiến Thắng.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng pledged to strive for fulfilling all tasks assigned and expressed hope to receive support and assistance from the home affairs ministry’s officials and staff in his new post.
