Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng pays visits to religious establishments in Nghe An province

A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng paid on December 4 a visit to Quan Lang parish in Truong Son commune, Nghe An province’s Anh Son district ahead of Christmas 2021.  

The delegation joint Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Party’s Committee Nguyễn Tiến Đạo and Phan Văn Hùng and Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thị Minh Nga was welcomed by Priest Paul Trần Ngọc Du, head of Quan Lang parish.

During the visiting reception,  while extending greetings to Priest Paul Trần Ngọc Du and parishioners of Quan Lang ahead of Christmas 2021, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng highly appreciated practical contributions made by Quan Lang parish and Catholics in Tuong Sơn commune of Anh Son district to the Covid-19 prevention work, and the rural development over the past years.

On the same day, the Home Affairs Ministry delegation visited and offered incense in Anh Son pagoda located in Cua Luy temple relic complex in Hoa Son commune of Anh Son district.
