Deputy Minister extends Ramadan congratulation to Islamic community in Ho Chi Minh City

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng on May 25 led a delegation visit to the Islamic representative committee in Ho Chi Minh city on occasion of the closing of Ramadan 2021.  

The Deputy Minister and representatives from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs were welcomed by Head of the Islamic representative committee in the city Lý Du Sô and other members of the representative committee.

During the visiting reception held in the office of the representative committee located in No. 52 Nguyen Van Troi street, Ward 15, Phu Nhuan district, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng extended best wishes to the Islamic community in the city on occasion of ending Ramadan 2021.

The Deputy Minister spoke highly of practical contributions made by the Islamic community in the city in the first five months of 2021 including the implementation of preventive measures against the Covid-19 pandemic during religious activities and the proactive involvement in the 15th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for 2021-2026.

Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng expressed that the Islamic representative would continue guiding the Islamic community to strictly observe preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic recommended by the health sector and local authorities in the current epidemic situation.
