On April 4 2014, at the headquarter of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA), Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn Vice – Chairman of the GCRA received a delegation from Representative Board of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church led by Bishop Thái Thọ Thanh. Attending the reception were also leaders and officials of Department of Caodaism Affairs.

At the reception, Bishop Thái Thọ Thanh briefed the general situation of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church in the past years. Currently, the Church has about 2,000 dignitaries, 10,000 deacons and 500.000 followers. On the occasion of an inauguration ceremony of Dang Giang Mosque (Ung Hoa distict, Hanoi city), the Representative Board of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church distributed 300 gift boxes to poor people in Dang Giang parish.

On behalf of the GCRA’s leaders, Mr. Dương Ngọc Tấn congratulated the Church for a new mosque and highly appreciated the contributions of the Church in the past years. He expressed his hope that the Representative Board of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church will continue to guiding dignitaries, deacons and followers to actively join in religious activities and social charity activities, contributing to building the prosperous and strong country.
