Defense-security knowledge provided for key religious in Hanoi and provinces in Military Region 2

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Central Council for National Defense and Security Education held on October 4-6 a conference for fostering knowledge of national defense and security to key religious in Hanoi and provinces in the Military Region 2.

The conference drew the participation of 252 dignitaries from religious organizations in Ha Noi and nine provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Son La within the Military Region 2.
Speaking at the conference’s opening ceremony, Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Hoài Bắc praised practical contributions of religious followers to crime prevention and maintenance of security and order, as well as patriotic emulation movements in Hanoi and provinces in the Military Region 2 over the past years.

The GCRA leader also expressed hope to receive comments from participating religious dignitaries on contents covered during the fostering conference in order to enhance the efficiency of national defense and security education in the coming time.
