Conference on implementation of Prime Minister’s Decision on functions, organizational structure of GCRA

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a conference on June 29th to review one-year implementation of the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 06/2015/QĐ-TTg of Feb 12, 2015, on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of GCRA.
The conference were chaired by Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Chief Executive Vice Chairman and Head of the Steering Board for State Administrative Reform of the GCRA, and attended by heads of departments and units, and members of the Steering Board.
At the conference, participants pointed out the advantages and disadvantages over the course of implementing their tasks. According to Chief Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, the GCRA has recorded many results in its advisory work and performance of tasks after one-year implementation of the Decision.
The establishment of the Southern Religious Affairs Department in compliance with the Decision has enhanced efficiency of the State management on religious affairs in 21 southern provinces and cities, he added.
The conference also made disscusion on the draft regulation on coordination between the Southern Religious Affairs Department and all other GCRA’ departments and units for boosting their coordination efficiency.
