On behalf of the Party Committee, leaders of the GCRA, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice-Chairman of the GCRA reviewed the 59 years’ history of the GCRA and the State sector on religious Affairs. In the process of development in 59 years, the GCRA has successfully carried out the tasks assigned by the Party and State, including collaboration with many related-agencies in order to make proposals to the Party and State on guidelines, policies and laws on belief and religion; enhance the state’s administration on religious activities in accordance with the law, provide guidance and support for religious organizations to conduct religious activities, and for religious dignitaries, religious and followers to uphold the patriotic tradition, and actively join in patriotic emulation movements…

 While affirming the role and position of the GCRA and State sector on religious affairs in past 59 years, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà expressed his hope that in the new stage ahead each cadre of the GCRA and State sector on religious affairs will always persevere with their work and continue to successfully implement the tasks assigned by the Party and States. He also sent best wishes to all officials, civil servants, employees under the Committee, and colleagues in the whole country.

On this occasion, some typical divisions and individuals were granted the Labor Medal of President and the Certificate of Merit from Prime Minister for outstanding achievements in religious affairs.
