A 17-member delegation from the (Binh Duc) Vietnam Caodai Church led by Archbishop Head of the Management Committee Lê Văn Tròn visited the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) on October 12.
Vice Chairman of the GCRA Dương Ngọc Tấn and officials from the Caodai Affairs Department under the GCRA welcomed the delegation.
Overview of the meeting
At the visit reception, Archbishop Lê Văn Tròn expressed his thanks to the GCRA for its supports and shared with the hosts about the churches’ activities. He said since its State recognition in 2011, the Church has strengthened the personnel system, built the worshipping places and oratories, organized religious training courses and actively conducted social and charity activities worth hundreds of millions VND each year.
Speaking to the guests, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn acknowledged practical contributions made by the Church in social charities and education…. He also expressed his hope that Caodai dignitaries would continue to encourage followers to observe the state laws, work closely with authorities at all levels and proactively participate in local movements, contributing to build the prosperous country of Vietnam.
