Over 140 key Protestants from Lam Dong province’s Da Lat city and districts of Duc Trong, Lac Duong, Don Duong, Lam Ha and Dam Rong have attended a workshop on religious laws on March 3.
During the event held by the provincial Department of Home Affairs in Da Lat city, Deputy Director of the department cum Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức introduced legal provisions relating Protestantism and issues regarding their implementation, and explained problems and remaining issues raised by participating Protestants concerning state laws and policies on religion in general and Protestantism in particular.
Earlier, on February 28, a similar workshop was held for representatives of Protestant congregations in the province’s Bao Loc city and districts of Di Linh, Da Huoai, Da The, Cat Tien and Bao Lam in Bao Loc city.
