VFF leader: Religious followers make important contributions to rural development in Nam Dinh

Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s central Committee Lê Bá Trình led a delegation at a meeting with Nam Dinh provincial government on the implementation of the Party’ resolution on religious affairs. 

The meeting held on March 27 focused on assessment of the implementation of the Resolution No 25 on religious affairs of the CPV’s 9th Central Committee in the northern province of Nam Dinh since its issuance in 2003.

Speaking during the meeting, the VFF leader spoke highly of practical contributions by followers of Catholicism, Buddhism and other religions in Nam Dinh province to rural development, as well as their proactive involvement in social models and programs for social-economic development in the locality.

During his working visit to Nam Dinh province, Vice President Lê Bá Trình also conducted fact-finding tours to several religious establishments in the locality.
