During the meeting, the delegation and the Dignitaries Council exchanged on the development of models for environmental protection, climate change adaptation in Phuoc Hau commune, Ninh Phuoc province.

So far, as reported, the Dignitaries Council of Cham Brahmin community in Ninh Thuan province has coordinated with VFF’ Central Committee and Phuoc Hau commune authorities in enhancing basic knowledge about environmental protection, climate change adaptation for local Cham Brahmin dignitaries and believers, as well as implementing the environmental protection models in the locality, including improving waste management, and sewage treatment and mobilizing local people to keep hygiene in animal husbandry, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Lê Bá Trình praised the Dignitaries Council for its positive contributions in implementing the coordination program on protection environment and climate change adaption between the VFF Central Committee, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment with religious organizations.
