On December 12, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee held a ceremony in Thai Nguyen province for praising typical ethnic and religious youth in the mountainous Northeastern provinces.
Attending the ceremony included Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee cum Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee Nguyễn Phi Long, representatives of the Communist Youth in provinces of Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen, and over 200 youth union’s members.
During the event, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee honored 30 ethnic, religious youth for their outstanding contributions in social work and charity programs over the past years and presented 20 scholarships to poor students with excellent academic results in Viet Bac Upland Secondary School and Viet Bac College of Culture and Arts.
