On January 18, Tuyen Quang provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with religious dignitaries on occasion of the upcoming traditional Lunar New Year 2016.
Attending the meeting included Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đình Quang, representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, religious dignitaries and deacons in the locality.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Đình Quang informed results of the social-economic development 2015 and asked religious dignitaries and deacons to promote charitable activities for the poor on occasion of the upcoming traditional New Year (Tet festival).
Tuyen Quang provincial leaders also extended Tet wishes and presented gifts to religious dignitaries and deacons ahead of the traditional festival.
