The conference was chaired by Deputy Secretary of Tuyen Hoa district Party Committee cum Chairman of the district Religious Affairs Steering Committee Trần Xuân Cầm and attended by, Quang Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Chairman Đậu Đình Minh, representatives from Tuyen Hoa district’s Party Committee and administrative authorities, and the secretary of the commune-level Party Committees.

It’s reported that during ten years of implementing Resolution 25 of the 9th Central Party Committee, Tuyen Hoa district Party Committee and Religious Affairs Steering Committee organized a disseminating conference 2003 for key officials in the locality, and developed specific implementation plans for further carrying out Party’s related guidelines.

By thoroughly grasping Resolution 25 of the 9th Central Party Committee on religious Affairs and the Action Program 23-CTHĐ/TU dated May 28,2003 of Quang Binh provincial, the Party Committee, administrative authorities and mass organizations at various levels became more aware of their responsibilities and better equipped with fundamental principles and guidelines in handling religious affairs in the locality. Local Party Committees, administrative authorities and mass organizations attached its importance to well carry out six tasks and four approaches regarding religious issues in accordance with the Resolution 25, thus making practical contributions to improve material and spiritual life of religious people,  and strengthening social cohesion  and national unity.

Speaking at the conference, Quang Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Chairman Đậu Đình Minh urged local authorities to effectively implement Conclusion No 57 KL/TU dated November 3, 2009 of the Politburo on further implementing Resolution 25 of the 9th Central Party Committee on religious affairs, with focus on dissemination of policies and laws of the Party and State, contributing to create conditions for religious followers to enjoy the right to religious freedom and fulfill civic obligations.  

At the reviewing conference, Tuyen Hoa district Party Committee awarded a certificate of merit to 3 organizations and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in religious affairs in the locality.
