Tay Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on February 09 a meeting with local religious dignitaries on occasion of the beginning of the Lunar New Year 2017.
Attending the event included representatives of provincial authorities and 200 key religious dignitaries representing religions in the locality.

During the meeting, while extending New Year greetings to local religious leaders and believers, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc informed dignitaries results of socio-economic development in 2016 in Tay Ninh province. The Vice Chairman also spoke highly of social contributions made by local religions in the province over the past years.
At the event, representatives of provincial authorities and religious dignitaries also exchanged on practical issues relating to religious practices in the locality.
