Tra Vinh province: dissemination of religious and ethnic policies to religious dignitaries, local officials held

The Southwest Steering Committee in collaboration with Tra Vinh provincial Party Committee held a meeting on August 17 for dissemination of the Party and State’s policies on religion and ethnic minorities to about 200 religious dignitaries, deacons, local officials in the province.
At the meeting, participating delegates heard about the history and development of the Southwestern region; contributions by peoples of Kinh, Khmer, Cham… in the construction, defense and development of the Mekong Delta region; the Party and State’s policies on religion and ethnic to Khmer people,…
Currently, Tra Vinh province is home to more than 320,000 Khmer people, accounting for 32% the provincial population
