Tien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs reviewed its performance in 2014 and mapped out working plans for 2015 at a conference held on Jan 27.
The conference was co-chaired by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Trần Kim Mai, Vice Chairman of the Department of Home Affairs Huỳnh Anh Tuấn and attended by representatives from relevant provincial departments and the Division of Home Affairs in 11 districts and towns in the locality.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee praised contributions made by officials and civil servants working on state religious affairs to the stability and social security in the locality. For the religious affairs in the years ahead, she asked officials in charge to focus on key issues, including inter-sectoral coordination, organization and personnel, administrative procedures, religion-related land and building of new worshipping facilities.
