On Sept. 24, Deputy Director of Tien Giang provincial Department of Construction Mai Thanh Minh led a delegation to conduct inspection of five religious construction projects in the locality.
The five religious projects inspected include four Buddhist pagodas of Tinh Nghiem, Thanh Quang, Kim Linh 01 and Ngoc Buu monastic, and one construction project of Vietnam (Binh Duc) Caodai Church in Tien Giang province’s Cho Gao district and My Tho city.
The inspection is part of a plan developed by Tien Giang provincial People's Committee for ensuring quality of religious facilities during construction and use.
Through the inspection, Mr. Mai Thanh Minh stated that the construction of religious buildings has been carried out in compliance with the provisions of law in the construction, including structure, architecture and supervision of construction buildings.
According to Mr. Mai Thanh Minh, the construction inspection will be continued in last months of 2015 and the following years in order to ensure quality of all religious construction projects in Tien Giang province.
