On December 21, a delegation of Tien Giang provincial government led by Deputy Standing Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Lê Hồng Quang paid Christmas visits to Christian dignitaries in the province.
The delegation included representatives of the provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Committee for Religious Affairs.
The delegation visited Bishop of My Tho diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm, Provincial General of the Sisters of Saint Paul de Chartres under My Tho diocese Nun Nguyễn Thị Tri, Priest Head of the provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics Joseph Phạm Thanh Minh and Pastor Chairman of the Protestant Representative Committee under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam Trần Thiên Tứ.
At visiting receptions, Deputy Secretary Lê Hồng Quang extended Christmas greetings to Christian leaders and followers of Churches in the locality.
