A delegation from Tien Giang provincial Steering Committee for Religious Affairs led by Mr. Trần Long Thôn, Chairman of the Commission for Mass Mobilization cum Vice-Chairman of the Steering Committee visited My Tho diocese on Nov. 27.
Joining the delegation were Mr. Quách Trung Sơn,Vice-Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Mr. Trần Văn Khuê, Vice-Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.
Welcoming the delegation included Bishop Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm of My Tho diocese and priests of the diocese’s Office.
At the meeting reception, the two sides exchanged on Catholics affairs in the locality, including the implementation of the program signed between the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam and the National Traffic Safety Committee for engaging Catholic dignitaries, priests and followers to ensure traffic safety.
