On Oct. 6, Tien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with My Tho city Home Affairs Division and the Political Education Center of My Tho city Party Committee held a religious training for local officials in the city.
The training was attended by about 120 commune-level officials from 11 wards and six communes in My Tho city.
During the training meeting, participants listened briefings on Vietnam’s religions and the current religious situation of Tien Giang province and My Tho city, as well as the Party’s guidelines and State’ policies and laws on belief and religion.
The event lasted in two days (from Oct. 6 - 7) and this is part of My Tho city People’s Committee’s training program 2015 for local personnel working on religious affairs in the locality.
