Tien Giang province: Dissemination of ethnic and religious policies held for ethnic and religious people

In October 2014, in a practical response to the Vietnam Laws Day 2014, Tien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and the Southwestern Steering Committee organized 3 meetings for dissemination of ethnic and religious policies to 300 ethnic and religious people in My Tho provincial city and district of Cho Gao, and 200 teachers and students at Tien Giang University.
These disseminating meetings have contributed to enhance people’s understanding of current Party’s guidelines and State’s laws on ethnic and religious affairs, as well as the traditional and peaceful co-existence of Kinh, Khmer, Chinese and Cham people in the Mekong delta/.
