Cai Lay district’s People’s Committee in Tien Giang province held on Nov. 18 the conference for disseminating the State’s guidelines and policies on religious affairs 2016.
Attending the conference included Deputy Secretary of the district’s People Committee Trương Minh Rất and 200 local cadres working in the State administration on religious affairs in the locality.
The conference focused on the religious life in Vietnam and the locality, key contents of the Resolution 25-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on religious affairs and existing legal documents related to belief and religion.
The conference participants also engaged in discussion of issues relating land of religious organizations, construction and upgrade of religious facilities and the recognition of religious organizations.
The conference contributed to enhance local public servants’ understanding of religions and religious policies, and improve working capacity for better implementing tasks of the State administration on religious affairs in the district.
