The People’s Army in Nghe An conducts social work in Catholic residential areas

About 150 soldiers and combatants from the 283rd Airborne Brigade and the 414th Infantry Regiment have participated in social work in communes of Bao Thanh and Nam Loc in Nghe An province.

The two communes have over 50 percent of the local population following Catholicism.

During ten days of social work, soldiers and combatants from the 283rd Airborne Brigade and the 414th Infantry Regiment engaged in the dissemination of the State policies and laws and repaired over 20km of rural roads and canals, as well as conducted health checks and free distribution of medicines for over 200 people, including the elder and people under special care policy.
