Attending the event included Colonel Hoàng Đình Trung, Political Commissar of Hoa Thanh district Military Command, Chairman of the Hoa Thanh district People's Council Nguyễn Mạnh Thế.

Religious people in Hoa Thanh district accounts for 90% of the total population, including followers of the Caodai Tay Ninh Church, the Caodai Correct Path Church, Buddhism and Catholicism, in which the Caodai Tay Ninh Church has the largest share with over 120,000 followers, nearly 1,000 dignitaries and over 2,200 deacons.

The meeting highlighted social contributions of religions in building local transportation system, charity houses, social and humanitarian activities in the district over the past years.
