In recent years, Caodai followers in Tay Ninh province closely collaborated with local authorities to implement the movement for national security and better religious and secular life in the locality.
In order to further encourage Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers to actively participate in the crime prevention, detection and denunciation, Tay Ninh provincial Public Security has held a conference to launched the movement “all people protect national security movement” among the local Caodai community.
As part of the movement, each district or provincial city will select one Caodai parish to develop a pilot model. After 6 months of operation, a conference will be held for evaluating and replicating the model in the locality.
An executive board of the implementing model will be established with members representing the commune-level People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Public Security, and members from the Caodai parish’s executive board.
Speaking at the conference, the representative leader of the provincial Public Security suggested concerning authorities and public security in districts and provincial cities to work closely with the commune-level authorities and Caodai parishes to build effective models for maintaining social security and public order in the province.
