Southwestern Steering Committee reviews propaganda work in religious and ethnic communities

Vietnam Southwestern Steering Committee reviewed the propaganda work 2014 in ethnic and religious communities in Southwest and approved working plans for 2015 at a meeting held on May 21.
Attending the meeting were representatives from central agencies and local authorities.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Southwestern Steering Committee Dương Quốc Xuân urged local authorities to persistently implement the propaganda work for promoting ethnic and religious people’s understanding of State’s policies and laws, contributing to ensure stability and socio-economic development in communities.
According to the conference, the Committee’s propaganda work 2015 will further focus on enhancing understanding of State laws and policies on ethnic and religious affairs, as well as the history of the Vietnam’s Southwest region./.
