Results of dissemination of belief & religious law in Kon Tum

Implementing the Prime Minister’s decision No. 306 dated March 8, 2017, the provincial government of Kon Tum issued a plan for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion on August 2, 2017.  

So far, in the year 2017 and the first six months 2018, the provincial authorities held two conferences on the implementation of the new law on belief and religion for about 750 key officials tasked with religious affairs from concerning departments, agencies and social-political organizations in the province; two disseminating conferences on the new law for 450 religious dignitaries deacons and followers of religions in the locality, and two training workshops for 110 participants who are district and commune-level officials in charge of the state governance on religion in the province.

In addition, the Kon Tum provincial government has collaborated with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs in successfully organizing a national conference on the implementation of the law on belief and religion 2016 for 300 officials tasked with religious affairs from 14 cities and provinces of the Vietnam Central, as well as sent local officials to attend a dissemination conference of the new law held by the government religious committee in Gia Lai province.
